Coliseum Northside Hospital

Coliseum Northside Hospital was established in 1984 by Charter Medical Corporation as Charter Northside Hospital. In 1993, Quorum, a Nashville, Tennessee-based hospital management company, purchased 13 medical-surgical hospitals from Charter Medical, including Northside. Then in 1998, Quorum and HCA merged Coliseum Medical Centers and Macon Northside Hospitals in order to provide our community with better access to quality healthcare. In November of 2005, the hospital's name changed to Coliseum Northside Hospital to reflect the affiliation with Coliseum Health System. The hospital resides on a beautifully landscaped campus and proudly serves residents of middle Georgia with a full array of comprehensive services.

Rehabilitation Services

At this state-of-the-art center, we are giving people back their mobility with knee and hip replacements, as well as a range of other orthopaedic procedures such as neck and back surgery. Our physicians and staff guide patients through the entire process with compassionate, personalized care, from pre-surgery educational classes to rehabilitation. In the rehabilitation center, we help patients overcome functional limitations brought on by injury, illness or surgery. This is accomplished through both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. We offer our patients complete diagnostic and follow-up with the most modern treatment techniques available with a goal of helping each patient reaches the highest level of personal independence.
